As I had mentioned in my previous post, ours is a large group of 15 guys who always stick together in whatever we do. Everybody knows that football is a global favorite sport and another fact is that English football has the maximum number of viewers behind them. Their dominance has not only been in terms of viewers but also in terms of their game play. Last season’s UEFA champion’s league proved this fact.

The semi finals were dominated by the big four of English football. But we should not take the efforts from the rest of the clubs. There will always be at least 2 clubs representing top European countries such as England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Clubs from rest of the European countries has to fight it out for a spot. There will mostly only be 1 club per these other countries.

Even this year the big four from England showed their dominance by qualifying for this years champion’s league. The clubs which finished in first and second place in their respective leagues gets a direct qualification to the Champion’s league. This condition is true only for top European countries specified above, as far as I know.

Only the top club from rest of the European countries gets a direct qualification. The rest of them have to qualify to earn their spot. This is about the UEFA champion’s league. I shall post about top clubs from each European country after this.
